A Chicago-native with a passion for social advocacy and interpreting current events. I grew up on the south side of Chicago around people with just as much passion, if not more, for promoting change throughout our community. This inspired me to remain vigilant and hyper-aware of not only local but national and global news. Traveling the world, both in my free time and as a flight attendant, made it very clear to me the importance of understanding both history and current events.

I have always used my social media as a means to educate my friends on issues going on throughout the world that needed attention. I finally decided that this fervor I had for educating others on current events could be taken to a larger scale. Thus, In The Know was birthed.
